So apparently backdating LJ entries means they don't show up on friends lists. Makes sense, I suppose. At any rate, I got my latest entries fixed now. Whee!
I'm doing some post-work chilling right now, with my very chillworthy Mozart Meets Cuba CD. (Another promo - surprise!) It's charming and quirky and manages to avoid becoming elevator music. The Klazz Brothers and Cuba Percussion have another CD out - I'll have to check it out.
(Dear gods, I have music to entertain to. If I did any sort of entertaining, that is.)
So, what's been up lately. Yesterday, Ryan and Drew and I celebrated Wep Ronpet (Egyptian New Year) in our lovely eclectic way. Our work together has been quite nifty lately and I hope that continues. We also busted out a couple of other times in the past few weeks.
We've played both Blue Team and Small Group Iron Heroes since I wrote last. I keep planning to do some kinasthetic work with getting into character for Ashera'ha (Small Group) and haven't yet. I've been having a great time in both games, though.
There has been mad phatty Gencon planning lately with Lyz. Also Kirby Air Ride again. And then the disc broke. Sulk.
Sunday I went to Becca's magical discussion group for the first time. I like them a lot - there's a bit of the newbie weirdness still, but I think it'll be cool. It helps that I first talked to them at a party. (And it comes back to entertaining.)
Two weekends ago, Laura down to visit and I finally got to spend some time with her. She was with Bob and Cassandra, who I met at her wedding. Matt G. came to visit too. We ate at Flat Top, then later acquired more people and went to Steak and Shake. Also, there was semi-drunken Duck Hunt and watching of the Big Lebowski. Now I'm curious what people did at Lebowski Fest in Louisville. Probably drank White Russians. :)
