Social theory test = insight, apparently

Just finished my last exam - social theory. It's definitely not usual for me to be able to talk about will (and saying Will), liminality, Aeons, paradigms, Enigma theory, and the Newcomer Story on a test. (Although not in those words.) Simmel rules, and Mead's pretty spiffy, too. And that's why I'm not selling back my theory books.

Also had an interesting idea re: my novel. I've thought of Chalcedony as a Newcomer to Oryne nearly from the beginning. That's part of the reason (she's given) for her being Envoy. But Imantha is just as much a Newcomer to the Erienthen Court, which is what allows her to advise both Queen Jacinthe and Chaldedony.

Now I just need to finish one more paper and I'm done. For real.

oryne, thoroughly departmental, writing
