Today's Distraction

While waiting for sothacid to rise from his sleep of ages, I ended up talking with my buddy Az about how to make The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway into a survival horror game. There'd be various gameplay styles throughout since the usual "swarms of enemies" or "constant hiding threats" wouldn't really work with the theme; this isn't to say that there wouldn't be serious environmental horrors. We figured adding extra content from other pieces like "Supper's Ready" or "Watcher of the Skies," both slightly retooled to fit into the potentially branching narrative, would make the game bigger while maintaining the same feel, and of course there'd be multiple endings.

Surprisingly, it'd probably work pretty well. I know I want to see the Lamia or Magog as big ol' boss fights.
