We had to be a customer of "x" months long to upgrade to the "power" package of Verizon DSL. AND to get this upgrade we had to make a freaking phone call. Finally! Some decent upload/download speed. Of course this took about 20 minutes of wading through Verizon's automated phone system. What the heck ever happened to push a button menus on the phone??? Trying to navigate a voice activated system does NOT work with a head cold!! ARRRGGGH!
