who's updating the updaters?
In spite of the resources available to them, why can't any software company ( Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Google, Sun ) provide some sort of download / update system that isn't embarrassingly inefficient, unusable, or confusing. With the exception of the OS X software update scheme, and several of the OSS solutions, I haven't experienced one that was designed with the user in mind.
