So Derek and Casey basically date gender switched versions of themselves in the movie? Interesting.

Love the first gif of Derek almost literally ripping Casey away from the kiss! "My girlfriend!" LOL

The video was cute but it is soooo strange to see Derek/Seater with that short, much darker hair. Too used to the longer, reddish locks.

And that poster was cute! Though it should have the two of them together at the bottom with 'made for each other' or something on it. *wink*

Yeah, pretty much. As frustrating as it is for me to watch them with Sally and Truman in S4 when I've rewatched the movie I get to the point where I just find the whole thing ridiculously hilarious that Casey and Derek are dating gender reversed versions of themselves. And that is what we call bad writing my dear.

I'm in love with that gif. Casey looks so pretty. And so relaxed and happy dancing with her "boyfriend". ;)

And yeah, when you're used to seeing Seater with the longer hair it is an adjustment seeing him with it cut like that.

It's not only bad writing, it's very lazy!

What I loved about that top gif too was how easily Casey lets herself be pulled away. She could have held on or protested but she just lets Derek pull her out and she stays to dance with him, rather than storming off (which we know Casey is more than capable of. At least, IMO, she is.).

I'm working on Season 3 now, the long hair with Seater, so yeah, big change to see him with the shorter (and darker) hair.

Oh, Casey is definitely more than capable of storming off. Especially when Derek is involved. But her attraction to him is just TOO POWERFUL!!! LOL She knows in her heart that they're dance partners/soulmates etc. :o)
