I watched the version of Pirates of Penzance the ABC had on at the weekend. In spite of the claims of yourtv.com.au it was not the Simon Gallagher/Jon English version, but a 2006 version by Opera Australia with Anthony Warlow as the Pirate King, doing it in a Captain Jack Sparrow kind of way (both costuming and body language/phrasing ( Read more... )
