My workplace policy is not to support Eudora, but instead to urge that everyone use outlook instead. Bah! Nope. Can't make me. Though this week it felt like they were giving it a good try. Yesterday there were some can't connect bings, but given the exchange server's general flakiness at times and that I could send mail just fine I thought all was well. Until I got home and discovered using my email there that I had gotten several emails to my work address that day. That I hadn't seen. Today I find apparently there has been some sort of fiddly thing and I had to make some changes to my Eudora setup to get it to talk to the machine :( Still. Sorted now, for the moment anyway. I wonder if my setup at home was different or whether it treated machines outside the 'network' differently?
Will find out later.
The ironic thing is that in the past, when I was getting over 100 spam a day to my work account I'd have noticed a lot quicker, but lo, the new spam filter system is working well and I'm getting a much much higher real email to spam ratio, so sometimes only 5 to 6 emails to work address a day. So when I stopped getting them at all I just didn't notice.
