Very good. One of the more believable stories of this type I've seen.

Eeeee.

Oh, just-- both of them.

I especially love the mindreading, and the Doctor's eternal hopefulness, and how the Master's always in control of himself while the Doctor's really not.

-- and the end. Where I don't know which of them to believe. *flails*

Fantastic.

Also, the use of imagery is great here. I can really see all of this.

Theory: both of them are right. I mean, that's the only way I can write it? They're both awful and cunning and absolutely convinced that they're winning, which means neither of them are. :D

(Also, hallo, using shoddy wireless that's sort of in my room right now, which means that I can reply to comments but really can't be on IM. Hopefully catch you later today. <3)

That's kind of how I was reading it too. Yay me!

(I should be around until about 2:00 PST, after which I have some chores to do before work, and then back after nine.

P.S. -- you have Muse's "Stockholm Syndrome" song, right? It's very Harrowdown-John.)

God, you have such fabulous Saxon icons. I'm reduced to giving you Sam and Gene. XD

(Gotcha. :D Yaaaay in-and-out wireless; hopefully dad should be finished with the ethernet soon.

No! No I don't, the only album I think I have mostly in full is Black Holes and Revelations. Ahaha, btw, Supermassive Black Hole? = total Doctor/Master song.)

Oh, this is so very good. Thank you, you made a rainy evening suddenly sunny (you know, in a dark, twisted, power-crazed sort of a way).
