The bit where Mary imagines learning about being Slayer when she's ten is really great; I loved that bit. I also love Mary's response to being a Slayer, and if she didn't change her mind later I bet she's one of the few who didn't die young.

I think Dickon was my favourite part, and the way people were prepared because of their traditions. You wrote this really well; it felt the same way as the book does. Crack crossovers FTW! I spent like a minute staring at the screen going "Mary Lennox? What fandom is-- OH MY GOD."

I firmly believe that, like, she and Colin and Dickon Scoobie off into the sunset. Colin does lots of research and Dickon teaches him how to be Wicca and then in s6 Colin goes evil and tries to take over the universe and I can't decide if it's Mary or Dickon who talks him down with Love.

And then one day in the 1930s, Drusilla comes and KILLS MARY DEAD. The end. XD

Oh, wow! I admit, I was skeptical, but that was *brilliantly* done -- I totally adored every word. The characters were all spot-on (really!), and I could totally believe where you went with it. Fantastic job!

You and your wacky ships and your supposed WWI canon from the hallmark special. Archibald/Lily/Dr. Craven love triangle FTW.

(Aria--Excuse my need to engage in ship wars with olivia_circe. The story was lovely. I loved the Indian mythology, the fact that Dickon knew... just lovely).

I am always a little bit incapable of not shipping Colin/Dickon/Mary. I TRIED VERY HARD NOT TO DO IT HERE THOUGH.

Ohhhhh my god, thank you, Aria. This is a pretty effing great birthday present. Mary is such a little colonialist terror and Colin is such a dweeb and Dickon is, as always, superlative. God bless. ♥ ♥ ♥

IT WAS SO FUN. You should tell me to write cracky turn-of-the-century things more often. And happy birthday again. <333
