Walking with the stars

Man, last night was gorgeous.

I like to walk home after work. People think I'm crazy, 'cause God knows who/what is wandering the reserve after dark, but there are nights I feel like it's safe for me to walk home, and nights I feel it isn't.

Last night it was. And Man, the sky was gorgeous! The moon was low in the sky and golden, and the sky was deep and velvet blue, and the stars were bright...I can't see the stars very well from my house anymore because of the street lamps that were installed in front of it several years ago (and my neighbor has this ridiculously bright FLOODLIGHT IN THEIR YARD THAT OVERWHELMS EVERYTHING), so just being able to walk for fifteen minutes under the sky, with nothing to obstruct it, was wonderful. I was giddy the whole way home. There were barely any cars on the highway too, which made me even happier. XD

Work was painfully uneventful. Slooooow night. Thank GOD it wasn't a red eye! The only thing that happened that was remotely interesting was that my aunt came in and played with a dauber that reminded me eerily of blood. Seriously. Its ink was deep red and oozy. I was utterly transfixed as I watched her mark her card, the ink pooling thickly as she pressed it to the paper and obscured the numbers--it even had the consistency of blood. I stared until I couldn't anymore. Then I realized, I need to buy that dauber.

I also received sex advice from one of my coworkers (gee, thanks Justin). Soon thereafter we delved into a very interesting discussion about spirituality, faith, visions, death and after death experiences. Justin's a bit of a sex addict but he's one of the most interesting and intelligent people I know. He's got a rather high IQ and is pretty much a human calculator, which makes him perfect for the bingo hall...unlike me, who was born with dyscalculia. Anyway, we have awesome conversations about everything, and he's one of the few people I feel comfortable sharing my various theories and observations with.

...for some reason the italics won't turn off.

That's all for now.

wtf italics, god's a genius, bella luna, life, bingo hall, i'm a bit creepy sometimes
