I really liked this! But I wish it were a little longer-- you just barely missed the adorable snuggling part! I really wanted Esca to end up sleeping in Marcus's bed. but you did say it was only as gen as the book ;)
but it was really realistic and true to the style of the book. and I love the bit about the healer's remark in her language that Marcus could understand. I think she knew about them too ;)

Sorry! But you can imagine snuggling going on all that night, and for many nights thereafter *g* I think you're right about the healer, but then Marcus's love for Esca is probably there on his face for anyone to see--he can't help it :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was thinking Marcus would find it really disturbing for Esca, who has always been so strong for him, to be vulnerable. But come through for him, of course :)

*g* Your buttons are my buttons, then, bb--I was being completely self-indulgent when I wrote this. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for letting me know. (and glad the characters seemed true to the book--I have such a soft spot for book!Esca and book!Marcus).
