This was my assignment, and I was more or less happy with the way it turned out. I wish that I had managed to get it done with enough time to revise more and to have it beta'd, though. The pacing of it still bugs me, and I think with more time I could have worked some suspense or slightly scary bits into a basically sweet fic. Also of note: this is the third story focusing on animals and the second dog/wolf story I have written this year. Hmmm.
