I'm finally able to put my current romantic (or lack thereof) situation into words, thanks to veracity :
I'm like Connor Temple looking for my own Caroline, even as I secretly hope that my Abby wakes up and realizes how great we'd be together.
Although I can usually find a female character to relate to when it comes to my relationship problems (I've been Echo, Eponine, Eowyn...a lot of freakin' E-names there), I've been at a loss when it comes to this particular conundrum. And then my good friend went and pointed out what should have been obvious - as a girl who typically relates to boys better than other girls, it makes sense that eventually I'd come across a romantic situation in which I'm playing the role of the male character, while my would-be boyfriend would be the girl. Thus, I am Connor and he is Abby. And I'm totally nerdy with a unique fashion sense...and he's all funky with strange interests.
I really need to watch the 3rd season of "Primeval"...both us Connors are in dire need of a happy ending. At least one of us will get it...LOL
