In the North Coast in Colombia we have some special type of music, aside from vallenatos which Carlos Vives made known to the world (although the old vallenatos were the real good ones). This music is cumbia, porro, gaita, paseo. The song I'm going to link here is called "Fiesta de Negritos" which roughly and badly translated would be something like "Little Black People Party"; it's a "porro" and is by Lucho Bermúdez (1912-1994) who was a very famous musician in my country.
This song has no lyrics. It's only music and it brings the most beautiful memories from my childhood and teen years. This is probably the one song that I love above any other and the one that makes me incredibly happy.
