Oh, this was beautiful! I actually had tears in my eyes while I was reading; I could feel how much Kirk missed Spock almost physically

This part was lovely:
No other living being in the universe had those beautiful, long fingers like Spock, whose caresses are like velvet, who tastes like flowers, and who sends bolts of lightning shoot through Jim every time they kiss with their fingertips.

and this:
There is no memory without Spock in it.
Such a simple and sweet way of showing how much they mean to each other!
And then the ending left me with a happy grin on my face!

This is really sweet! I'm so glad you decided to go for a happy ending! It's also rather true: It is hard to imagine the enterprise without Spock! Poor Kirk.
