Oh Fandom, what have you done do me?
I think by now it was about a year ago when for my first time I joined a fandom (albeit in the dark) and started reading fanfiction, something that had never occured to me before. I remember looking at some weird initials like OOC, AU, Mpreg and I was trying to figure out what they meant. And sometimes knowledge was acquired the hard, scary way!
So now at a time when I am so pressed to finish my PhD and my finances are not exactly thriving, I decided that I could not pass the opportunity of going to the QAF convention.
So I purchased myself a ticket. It's like all logic has abandoned the building of my brain!
I have never been to such an event before. I won't know anybody but I hope it's not going to be weird.
Oh by the way, the hotel owners need to commission a honorific portrait for the lovely Elke, because I seriously don't think that Koln is that popular in mid-June. It's not Ibiza!
Also I have to finish a draft chapter of about 15000 words in 2.5 weeks. Oh shit, I am panicking now!!!!
