Must Say...
I posted a comment at a friend's LJ that got so voluminous, it deserves an entry here all its own.
She wrote in her LJ, Re the Narnia movie:
"Aslan was hot (don't ask I know he's a lion) and Mr Tumnus was cute."
I didn't find Aslan hot- as I was afraid I would, given my, erm, circumstances.
Could have been due to my friends saying "that'd be like lusting after Jesus".
I found Mr Tumnus to be absolutely, scrumptiously adorable!
Charming and sweet and those glowing eyes!
Just the way best way to explain how a little girl would have trusted him & followed him & everything.
GOF - I was quite happy with -even though I did miss the Quidditch action-
and some things will never be right again. [Dumbledore! Please, someone fix him!]
Kong - I dunno... I'm biased... I guess Peter can do no wrong in my eyes.
He managed to get me *not* to hate Jack Black *and* Adrien Brody, in one film.
No mean feat, I tell ya. Then -then!- the man just revived Kyle Chandler's career!
[aka my beloved 'Gary Hobson' from 'Early Edition'- a show that *so* needs to hit DVD.]
