I swear, the kids I work with at the camp are more mature than half of the people I know from high school. Don't worry, that is probably not in reference to you.
Kate's Putrid List
1. So the show today went surprisingly well. Made a lot of money. Only two more weeks!
2. Lasagne
3. HEB plus early tomorrow morning! It's sad when that becomes an outing.
4. I like the smell of gasoline.
5. On Sunday I'm going to the Hill Country to steal massive pieces granite from quarrys and find fossils.
6. Doing other people's dishes.
7. Raaj. I'll try to take a picture of him. You will laugh.
8. The show House. I watched it for the first time tonight, and by Jove, it's a hoot.
9. Is Hugh Laurie British? Cause if he's not, he should be.
10. Fuckloads of M&Ms
11. Gaaaaaaaarrrlic
12. Hmm. The bulletins on my Myspace are all screwy. Not that that impacts my life at all ahem.
13. The bulk of my frustration at the moment is stemming from Michael George. He started IMing me saying "somebody fucking kill me" repeatedly and in all capitals. I do not like people who beat around the bush. I would prefer for him to be like, "so here is why I am frustrated" instead of ranting like a child. A profane child. I put up an away message that read "oh the melodrama" in reference to a totally separate and isolated incident and he freaked out and got mad at me. Because I don't understand.
14. Sometimes I prefer animals to people.
15. Givenchy cologne
16. The thought of eternity scares me to death. Not like heaven/hell and whatnot. It's more like the thought of what if your soul does live on? Forever? Then what? What if you get bored?
17. Ah see now I feel all queasy.
18. So puppies. Celina's is darling.
19. I decided today that when I'm all grown up and I get a dog, I want a great dane, a husky, a chocolate lab, or a german shepard. Or some mix of those. I want a big dog.
20. Sometimes I like my glasses.
21. I can't wait to leave the country forever ahhhhhhhhh
22. I saw Paul and his mom at HEB today. Awkward. I don't think she recognized me. And I didn't stop to chat.
23. My cousin is coming to stay with us for several weeks. She's 11 and really cool.
24. Today after the show, several kids were crying because their parents didn't come. I felt so bad for them. Like, what do you tell a seven year old who's sobbing because his parents promised they'd be there and they never came? I gave them big hugs and told them that something important must have come up, then I held their hands and we ate cookies together. My parents have never missed anything that I've done. They were both there today taking pictures, and I didn't even do anything.
25. Boomer, I promise I'll see you someday soon and I'll explain everything and try to make it better.
26. Peanut Butter
27. I haven't slept so comfortably as I did that time.
"If I leave here without understanding you, the world will see you as a monster. Always. And I don't want that."
