Holy snickerdoodle! I'm crying over here....A complete and utter mess...A complete and utter MerDer loving, Derek loving, Meredith loving, Christmas moments loving, mess. Right now I think I'm the best sort of mess. LOL!

This was perfection. Seriously. I don't think anyone could have done this any better. I loved the moments with moments with Sarah, the cookie baking, the conversation. I love that Mer is feeling more at ease. And I really enjoyed the flashback Mer had about when they decided to go get Quin. I'd been wondering about that.

I love Derek. Fliipin' LOOOVE Derek...YOUR Derek anyway. I love the banter between he and his family, I flippin' LOVE how calm and soothing he was to Meredith during her mini freak outs (I bet you knew I was going to mention that, didn't you?) I just love him. YOU FOUND MCDREAMY AGAIN!!!! Thank you! I've so missed him since he hasn't been on our television screen in...Forever, it seems!

The knee thing, the proposal, the DANCING...(Had an "Enchated" flashback for a second! :) ) I loved that you included the little things that he loved about her: the scent of her hair, their hiking trip, and I LOVED the firefly banter...THAT was priceless!!!

I LOVED it!!! It was just SO THEM. Every bit of this was SO totally in character for them....That's one of the things I LOVE about your writing....You are always SO in tune with the characters. :)

Thank you so much for the early Christmas present! Once again, you blew me away!

And can I just say, I'd forgotton that you have a Natalie in this story....That's my name and when I came across that part, I grinned even more than I already was, if that's even possible. ;)

You seriously rock and I'm SO excited (as in kid on Christmas morning excited) about what you have in store for us next! Thank you for an AMAZING update! :D

I'm so glad you loved this! I'm sort of in love with my version of Derek. I really wish he'd get his act together on the show, not that I can't see where show!Derek is coming from, at least. So glad you liked the dancing and everything. This whole section of Christmas was last minute inspiration, really. My original notes were just for a quick wake up on Christmas morning that was happy and fluffy. I'm so glad I got to expand. I've really enjoyed taking a breather from all the angst and letting MerDer have fun!
