I really, really liked Sarah. She's so cute. And it even seems Ellen is warming up to Meredith! But what the hell is Nancy's problem?

The ending nearly broke my heart. Why did Derek shy away so much just because of Finn? He had freaking Addison all year! Maybe he's remembering the part where he THINKS she slept with Finn. I hope Meredith sets him straight. I've been wanting her to ever since he accused her of it.

And he promised to let her explain...this can't apply just to the ferryboats!

Thanks :) Ellen and Sarah are indeed sliding out of neutral. Nancy will be a mystery for a bit yet, but I do intend to elaborate on that. And who says Derek is freaking out just because of Finn :)

oh! it's totally finn, like someone else said. because he was treating her all crappy and pushing her away when they were in the finn phase. great chapter, i love meredith being all part of the family... and i can't wait to figure out what the heck is up with nancy.

another thing (now that I've read this more soberly!), derek is not allowed to be mad at meredith again for getting a boyfriend WHILE HE WAS WITH HIS WIFE. That is... if the memories are Finn. Because that's not fair, and she didn't do it to hurt him... and he wasn't even technically a part of her life other than being just friends. So he better have some gigantic apology about that one!

He's not necessarily even mad. You have to remember he's getting memories shoved at him left and right, and he's not necessarily going to deal with them perfectly right away. He's had a rough week, give the guy a little slack :) Anyway, we'll see how this develops!

Aww loved the Meredith and Sarah stuff. And I can't wait to find out what is wrong with Nancy.

And what happened to Derek at the end? I hope he's okay and stuff. Great chapter. :)

Thanks :) Derek is having some issues at the moment. Assuming I sit down and actually write what I have planned, there's more than just knitting memories going on here.

Oh. Oh no. The knitting was only briefly before the vet. Or maybe he was remembering the knitting as a result of the Mark visit. Either way. . .he's dealing with it in a very familiar way.

I just adore the kitchen scene. And I like the bit about Nancy, I think I know what she's so tense about.
