Here he is in the morning at the opening ceremony.  He's standing on the stage with his mother.  The sun was shining right in my face, which sucked, and made the picture come out pretty badly, but you can get an idea how close I was.  The photo is not zoomed in.  Actually, none of my photos are zoomed in except for one of them further down.



Here he is trying to get to his bike before the start:



Here he is arriving at the finish line of the bike race.  There was a clot of cameras and people and his sister waiting.  They pretty much pulled him off the bike and away in a few seconds.  If you blinked, you would have missed it.





Here's the mess he got pulled into.  He's somewhere in there with the state troopers (!!!) and media and other people...

Here he is at the closing ceremony.  Note the prominently displayed wedding ring.  It was there all weekend (yay!).  The first pic is my only zoomed in pic that I've posted.  All the others show accurate distance from me to him.





Here he is awarding a signed, life-sized copy of himself to the fan who won the raffle.  He made lots of jokes about that.  Very funny!

A couple other observations... He touches his face a LOT when he fidgets.  He'll pinch his nose.  He'll stroke his chin, or wipe at his stubble or whatever.  It's amusing how many photos I got of him where his hands are on his face.
