And the earth settles....
So my reign as the assistant costume designer has ended and the costumes for the show were a smashing success. Juri came down to the studio just to praise us on our work. Apparently the comments were in the "best ever..." range. Yea for Angela. She has made quite the impression in the only year she gets to be here. I'm very excited abou the sketches for the next show and I'm sure I'll get to cut something amazing... I'm hoping for the pink and yellow "Barbie" dress. All the costumes have brandname's on them! I'll know for sure on Tuesday.
On the school front, I'm bored with my schoolwork and have no desire to work on my projects. The only work I'm inspired to do is Jen's wedding dress and other personal projects (that I don't have time for). I am excited to speak to another potential client to make another wedding dress, but I have not heard from her yet and she was suppose to be in town (from England) this weekend. I guess this is where I use my immense willpower and force myself to to get work down. It's hard to be motivated when all you want to do is stay in bed and read a book!
Stephen and I went to his cousin's wedding last night. It was a very sweet ceremony and reception. The surprising thing for me was that there were not many people and he is always telling me about his huge family! It was so sweet when he danced with his aunt Rita. Awwwww! When we got home he said he would have danced with me too if I wanted him to. I thought he wouldn't want to, so didn't bother to ask. It was his family's wedding after all. But now I'm going to make sure I get at least one dance out of him at Jen and Dave's wedding. See what you've gotten yourself into, Stephen!?! *giggle deviously*
