first kiss was a sweet kis, second kiss had a twist
Oh. My. God, y'all. New Kids on the Block is TOURING. AND THEY HAVE A GREATEST HITS CD. And I am nine again, and totally in love with them. They were so cute and innocent! I am far too excited about this.
I bought the CD to make myself feel better. I bought these bookshelves, right, the big black bookshelves from Wal-mart. I bought one when I first moved in, set it up and put all my books on it. Well I got a second one, and was going to put them on either side of my bed. So I got the second one set up, and I was feeling all proud of myself because I have my own cordless screwdriver now, so it's much easier. So then I go to move the other one. I took like half the books off so I could move it and threw them on the bed, I moved my bedside table and kind of blocked myself in, and then when I started to move the bookshelf the WHOLE THING COLLAPSED ON ITSELF and almost on top of me. I was holding it up with one hand, throwing books off all over the place with the other, trying not to let it fall on me, or through the WALL or on top of everything else. I tried to salvage it, but I had no way of putting it back together, plus I had now walled myself in between the bed, the wall, and a stack of books against the bedside table. I finally just took the whole thing apart and said forget it, I'll just get another one. I probably should return it, but I'm one of those people who would rather just be a couple dollars out than have to deal with the hassle of returning something without a reciept and all open and stuff - more for the employee's sake than mine. Retail has done this to me, I suppose.
