it tells me i have a philly accent after 4 years of boston + 4 years of britain but thinks you're from the midwest?

I have no idea. I answered stuff truthfully. The only thing I can think of is that I was raised around a bunch of people with random accents--My Filipino grandmother, my Dad's father and aunt from Virginia, my paternal grandmother's husband from Cuba, and my Aunt Carmen and her family from Puerto Rico. My mom and all of her siblings have very precise, clipped accents, probably because my grandmother tried to keep them from having accents. And of course, I date a Scottish guy, and my accent tends to mirror him slightly when I'm with him or talking to him. *shrugs*

Somehow, I ended up not having much accent at all.
