Unexpected Bday Card
Friday afternoon I received a very unexpected birthday card... from someone I thought had put me in the back of her mind.
But ... I know this may sound a bit ungrateful or paranoid but I feel like as if some people in my life now do things more out of pity or because they are trying to mend what got a broken. And I prefer to not get any of that.
Distance has become a huge factor in realizing who are really my friends and who were classmates or people that were part of my life. For this though I feel that I wont know until we talk it out, but still it made me happy to get a card from her.
And yes, I still love her as much as before, but Im just a bit hurt and paranoid by these past 4 years. So I feel that I owe her an apology. One day I hope we can talk about this face to face. Im sure it will be fine when we do.
