well, sprouts, i'll be damned if english 9 is not the most boring english class i have taken, like, ever. i used to love it, but then the games i played got boring and it all comes whittled down to i'm learning nothing and the woman who teaches the class does not know how to teach highschool freshmen. seriously. she sent paul b. out of the LAST 5 MINUTES of class because he was talking. she was totally playing the guilt card. "YOU DO NOT EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS CLASS I AM SICK OF IT sniff sniff." he got this bright, happy look on his face and went "seriously?"... and yeah. we're going to be doing the same damn thing every class while we do the to kill a mockingbird unit - vocab, then transparencies.
y'know, come to think of it, i really have never had a great english teacher. i learned all the grammar terminology from mad libs, and the actual vocab and writing i learned from my dad. okay, so in fourth grade i had mrs. hanaoka who was obsessed with word roots and latin and greek. that helped. so yes, one good english teacher. hmph.
meanwhile... i am going to have another busy busy busy week. today i am free, then wedensday there's the talent show rehearsal - and after that, most likely, a band rehearsal in asagaya. thursday is one acts practice, and friday is more one acts practice as well as... dun-da-dun - the talent show. you guys, show up! it's starting at 5pm and not 3:30 now... but if you really want, i can get you a ride home. well, a limited amount of you. i'm going to encourage my ma and da to come by car. so *nod*. 8D
i wore my quite the gentlemen shirt today and james [
