Well, I went out to get my hair cut this weekened and decided to do something a little different. I really like it, and everyone else I know keeps saying that they like it too, so we'll see! It's shorter, really short in the back, it can be spiked, but then it's longer in the front. I also dyed it black. I had waited so long for it to finally get back to blonde, and I just didn't like it. Oh well. My mom says that she thinks it's too dark, but it'll grow out again, I'm sure I'll change it a million more times. But either way, I really like it.
My birthday was good. Didn't do a whole lot other than shop with my mom. I did some homework, but I have alot more that I'm going to have to do tonight. I hope that I can get most of it done early so Arthur and I can watch Scrubs.
Title, Author, Rating:
1. All Acts of Pleasure M. R. Sellars («««««)
This book was another great writing by M.R. Sellars, and the cliff hanger at the end of this one was just as unnerving as the last. The Miranda Trilogy is amazing, and I cannot wait until Oct. 31st when the last installment of this trilogy!

2. Blood and Chocolate Annette Curtis Klause («««¶¶)
Sort of Teenie-Bopper, but it had a good plot, and I'm looking forward to the movie.

3. Voice of the Gods Trudi Canavan («««««)
Another amazing book by Trudi Canavan. This book finished her trilogy, Age of the Five quite nicely. I have to say, there was a little bit of being able to predict the ending, but it was still a great read that I was sad to see end.

4. Guilty Pleasures Laurell K. Hamilton (««««¶)
It was pretty good, very addictive. We'll call it "good enough to read the next one". It wasn't quite Anne Rice (Sorry Laurell) but it was still definitely worth reading for your cult book fix.

5. Laughing Corpse Laurell K. Hamilton (««««¶)
This book is just as great as the last one, and I think that I’m truly hooked! If you’re a fan of Vampires and a little… sensuality, this is the way to go.

6. Circus of the Damned Laurell K. Hamilton (««««¶)
Third in her series and the best thing I can say it that I’m going to start the next one the second that I get a chance! Absolutely awesome, I’ve even bought 5 and 6. I’m prepared.

Four Souls Louise Erdrich (««««¶)
This book doesn’t count towards my list because I read it for my native American Literature class, but it was very interesting, so I thought to include it should anyone else what to read it. It was very good, humorous in some places and sad in others. I think it’s a good easy read if anyone is looking for something… different.

7. The Lunatic Café Laurell K. Hamilton («««««)
I liked this one better than the last, because it developed Anita’s character a little more than the last couple. Needless to say, I’ve already started the next one. Sorry that it took so long to finish it, but it really was good. I read the entire second half of the book in one day. I just got distracted somewhere in the middle.

8. Bloody Bones Laurell K. Hamilton («««««)
So tell me, Who is the beautiful vampire Jean Claude? This book really takes you deeper than any of the others into his character. You find out a bit about his making and how his first years as a vampire were. Maybe that’s why he’s the way he is now? All in all, it was a good read, but I would have liked to see a little more of Richards character. Oh and let me say “Anita, Why are you waiting for Marriage!?”
