Happy Saint Patricks Day!
Ok, so it's kinda sucky that I've got to work today 2:30-11 and then tomorrow morning at 8am, but that's ok. I'm not really big on going out and getting trashed anyway. I'm pretty excited (more everyday)about moving. Arthur and I went and bought our comforter and our shower curtain so that we can use them to plan our accesories and paint for the rooms. We're trying to make sure all our rooms are different colors cause it'll make out apartment seem larger. I know, losers, but we're excited. So far the bedroom is purples and greys, the bathroom is blue and the livingroom is going japanese motif with shoji screens and cool things like that.
I got back into reading my book now that I'm done with the novel for native american lit, but I thought that I would write here cause I've been feeling like keeping a journal again. I'm thinking about rocking it with paper and pen, but I just haven't had a whole lot of time to sit down and write.
I'm testing the new livejournal beta and I think it's pretty sweet. I like having all my options on the screen all at once.
Today we can home for the night to have dinner for art's dad's birthday (and do laundry. Haha) and brought nik with us. We're all going back up tomorrow at noon, but I have a doctors appointment first. I made the japanese flash cards that I was supposed to, but now I'm going to have to memorize them, which is much harder than it sounds. There are alot of them! I downloaded like 50 disney songs tonight. haha. They're great. Arthur and I are sitting here on his bed listening to them now. He's playing his warhammer game, and I'm just surfing the net and playing monsters game.
Other than that, there's not a whole lot going on. I'm ready to be done with the semester. I could go forever without ever having another 'roommate' and I'd also be happy if I found out for sure that I passed the last portion of getting into my study abroad program. I know they said it shouldn't be a problem, but it still makes me a bit nervous. =(
I feel so retarded. I was on such a hurry to my class yesterday cause we had to write a blue-book essay and I smashed my knee on the door on the way there. I have a huge bruise and it hurts like a bitch!
Anyway, I guess that's about it. I'm going to find something else to occupy my time until we go to bed.
