I'm so lazy

Classes are going well so far.

The Econ professor is Turkish, so he has a delightful accent. And he says dude. I don't understand econ and I'm more or less trying to get a cognate in it, so I'm sitting in the front row, hoping I'll absorb more and space out less. There are two Japanese girls and three Korean girls that all sit behind me. And Yusuke sits behind them. He's the cutest thing in the world. I feel like somewhere I might have one of his books that Kayoko borrowed, but that doesn't make sense. idk. If I do, I'll find it this weekend.

History seems like it'll be awesome. The professor is Irish. So again with the nifty accent. He said we'll be focusing on Europe in the last couple centuries, even though it's a world history course, covering everything from 1500 on. When he asked us to write down our intellectual interests, I just wrote down Korean History, hoping he'd touch on the Korean War, because that's what I want to study, like in graduate school. Someone took the same class with him as a summer course, and told me he talked about it then, which is impressive. I'm excite about this class.

International Relations I'm less excited about, but I don't know why. Dr. Milner is interesting, if more than a bit corny. When he realizes that we were in Korea at the same time, and that I was with the group that he went out to dinner with, and went to Everland with, he will probably lolflail. I think he's already had a "you are very familiar but I don't know from where" moment. The material itself is fine. Hope it all goes well.

Child Psych is the biggest class I'm in this semester, and the material seems like it might get repetitive. But I'm genuinely interested in the material. I really like the professor, and the way she teaches. She's hilarious. Also sitting in the front row, because there are like a million people in that class.

American government will be a lot more interesting once we get to the modern stuff. Right now we're talking about the roots and the founding of the government, etc. How it works now will be more informative, I think. But Dr. Dion's way of explaining everything is amazing. He's nice and bitchy at the same time. Which isn't really a bad thing. The other day he said that his milkshake brought all the boys to the yard. And he drops Catholic jokes left and right. It'll be a fun, but difficult class.

I still have shit that I haven't unpacked yet. Tomorrow my goal is to go to Ridgeway after I get out of IR, go to the ATM, withdraw enough to go buy my parking permit, do that and put it in my car, and then come back to the room and start unpacking for reals. All that's not unpacked really is clothes. And then there are some things that are unpacked but not organized. So I'll start fixing all that up, too. Yey~!
