My Morning:

Aug 25, 2010 13:00

Oh wait, it's not morning anymore. It's noon. Whoops! Well, I just got up, so my morning:

Breakfast: chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches and milk.

I am sitting here, watching What Not to Wear, on which they are helping some unfortunate creature who describes herself as the Bride of Chewbacca. WTF.

I am also sitting here trying to create a coherent college schedule with the pretty much ten classes that are still open.

THE GOOD NEWS: I don't have to take another math class!!!!! Happy dance time, happy dance time! :) :) :) No more failing calculus for me!! YAY!

THE BAD NEWS: None of the classes in my major are open! NONE OF THEM! I'm the fourth person on a five-person waiting list for one class in my major, and I'm totally screwed. FML.

My options:

1. Trying to get the last like four of my basic requirements done. This might be challenging because two of these four requirements are "culture" classes, whatever that means, and I'm not qualified to take any of the ones that are still open. Somehow, I don't think taking Advanced Chinese is a great idea right now.

2. Taking a bunch of classes that are fun and that I want to take but that I won't be able to put toward basic requirements or my major. The problem here is, there aren't a lot of those still open either. Hmmmm.

3. Going part-time and just taking the three classes I'm already signed up for, plus hopefully the waiting-list class. I really don't want to do this, but I think it might be the best idea at the moment. The one least likely to waste time, money, and energy. Plus, I know if I take a class I hate just to fulfill a requirement, I'm probably not going to attend the class half the time, especially because I'm commuting and it's actually an effort to get to class.

Meh. Decisions, decisions.... I really want to be super extremely excited to go back to school, but the lack of classes is making it really hard.

Damn you, procrastination and last-minute decisions!!

Classes start a week from yesterday! WOO!

decisions, school, life, procrastination is bad
