Exciting Things in the Works
BAHHHHHHHHH. So how about some good news, for a change of pace? :P
I THINK I'M GOING TO ITALY OVER THANKSGIVING!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! As long as it's okay with Ria's roommates, I'm gonna go visit her for four days and it is going to be amazing!!!!
I've probably said this before, but she's in Florence and Florence is so beautiful and I am so excited! I've wanted to see the Duomo since I learned about it in my first-ever Renaissance art history class in the fall of 2008! I'm now on my third Renaissance art history class and I still want to see the Duomo and the Baptistry and Santa Croce more than anything! I have a thing for old churches... In Paris, it was Notre Dame and Sainte-Chapelle. In fact, Ria will probably have a difficult time pulling me away from Santa Croce. I feel kind of bad, actually, because by the time I get there in November she'll have seen all these things already and then she'll have to do them again with me.
And the food! The pasta! The gelato! This trip will probably ruin American Italian food for me for life, but it'll be worth it. The cheese! The bread! The wine!
This trip is very definitely what I need in my life right now. I haven't felt this good in a while.
Find me a sexy Italian man. Maybe me and Ri can find Italian brothers hahaha.
And of course, in true me fashion, the first thing I have started to worry about already is what coat I'll take with me for the late Italian fall weather. :)
