Standard Update
Just a standard update because, in the face of my life being out of control, my creativity and my quirkiness and my bizarre humor have decided to take a vacation.
Update on the BFFL front: Befffany is in the hospital. She was admitted last night. The awesome doctors think they've finally figured out what's wrong with her: blocked jugular. How does one's jugular even get blocked? Ordinarily, this is something I would GOOGLE THE HELL OUT OF to figure it out, but this is my best friend we're talking about here, and I've decided ignorance is bliss. As long as they fix it, I don't care what it is or what's causing it or anything. I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW. Just fix her, dammit, and give her back to me. So they're putting her on blood thinners and keeping her for a few days. If that doesn't work, I heard some rumors about surgery before I stuck my fingers in my ears and began humming. DO NOT WANT.
Update on the Criminal Minds Casting Disaster front: This has actually been a nice distraction from my best friend being severely ill even if it is the WORST THING TO HAPPEN TO TV SINCE BUFFY WAS CANCELLED. It appears that CBS is for realz getting rid of teh Awesomeness of Femininity that is A.J. Cook, and reducing CM's very own Wonder Woman, Paget. Luckily, CM has the most stupendous fan base of all time who is fighting this decision tooth and nail, myself included. I've signed the petition, filled out the feedback form, sent a letter to CBS Headquarters. I'm still debating whether I have enough money to join in the Manila Folder Campaign and buy manila folders to mail to CBS. It would severely cut into my Starbuck's fund, and caffeine withdrawal is not on my to-do list this week.
Obviously, even thinking about moving has been put off until my life is somewhat more under a semblance of some kind of control.
This whole post of is one big, depressing infestation of DO NOT WANT. I will try to be happier next time I update because I hate being all depressing and whiny. No promises though.
