Looking for a new car
So the insurance company called my dad to let him know that with all the damage to my car they had declared it a total loss. Which sucks. A lot. But, on the upside they are going to give us quite a bit of money for the car: more than half of what we originally paid for it. Now I'm searching for a new (used) car. I kind of really want either my same make/model, another Scion xB, or an older Subaru outback (what my parents' have but lower to the ground and cuter). I've also been looking at small pickup trucks. I've always wanted one.
We're having dinner tonight, Mom, Dad, and me, so we can talk about it then. What I just realized today was that I was supposed to have gone to sign off on them working on my car but I completely forgot about it. Soooo it's just been sitting at the shop for a while, two weeks in fact. Maybe that's better though. eh.
On a different note, tomorrow I'll be planting trees at Chicot! I'm super excited about that :D It's supposed to be a little colder tomorrow but it should be a lot of fun, and good hours for work, like 6.
