Okay, can I just say?

The Doctor Horrible songs can leave my head ANY TIME NOW. I keep wandering around randomly going, "I cannot believe my eyes, is the world finally growing wise," or "tell your friends, say it was Horrible," or "Look around, we're living with the lost and found," or "A man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do," and I have had ENOUGH.

Thank you. Argh.

Oh, it's never going to leave. I haven't seen the thing in a week, and I still get bits stuck in my head, from all the songs. To the point where I think I've memorized most of them. I'm not sure if that's impressive or sad.

I feel stupid here, but what exactly is Dr. Horrible? I keep seeing the name pop up but I haven't a clue.

Dr. Horrible is Joss Whedon's musical about a nice-guy supervillian starring Nathan Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris. It's only online (not TV) and it was streamed free for about a week in late July. Now you have to buy it from iTunes if you want it. It's only 4 bucks, definitely worth the price if you haven't seen it, but man the music will get stuck in your head *forever*.

You know, that sounds like something someone woulds make up--not something that someone actually produced. So now, of course, I *have* to see it! Thanks for the info!

I've almost stopped listening to music because I'm so susceptible to earworms. Of course, at a certain time of the year one can't actually avoid music. I heard the song about Grandma and the reindeer (can't actually type or think the title because it's a line from the song and would get stuck in my head) ONCE in a cafe and it was stuck in my head for days and I developed this elaborate theory that "Grandpa" and "me" were the real killers and Santa was framed, and the motive was in those unopened presents.

ANYWAY, so yeah. Dr. Horrible did kinda get to me, too. But there are worse things to be going through one's head. Of course, my brain does fixate on the particular lines that I don't quite get -- why a shiny new Australia, specifically?

NOT THE REINDEER SONG. AGH.

Australia because it's a cute rhyme with failure. No other reason. :) I like that line; it amuses me. It's the "shiny, new" part that does it for me. :D

Yessssssssss! I've had the exact same phrases stuck in my head. Also: 'stand back, everyone, nothing here to see / just imminent danger and in the middle of it - me' and the Bad Horse song.

Agh, no more. Make it stop. And I don't even know all the words, so it's worse. Right now, in my head is " all the blah, something something, I'll forgive. Blah blah blah blah blah blah, honestly I'll live." Can you see why I am going insane?

I'm sorry. *ducks*

And I totally hum or say 'something, something' because I haven't learned all the lyrics yet.

*pets you*
