The comments were getting really messy in the last post, and somehow bringing out my inner Virgo (even though I'm mostly a Leo), so I am updating this here.

A Reasonable Prejudice (HP/Labyrinth Crossover -- Hermione, Jareth)

Hermione felt uncomfortable around owls.

They smelled, for one thing, and their claws scratched your arm. Once an infected gash put her in the hospital wing for two days. And she knew they watched her, impolite thoughts behind their beady eyes.

I’m being ridiculous, she thought, a proper witch must own an owl.

So she bought one. He’s not so bad, she thought back at Hogwarts, caressing a snowy white wing.

Her insides flipped outside and she was in a strange castle, her owl replaced by a cruelly beautiful man in tight trousers.

“Welcome to the Labyrinth.”

Hermione hated owls.

Yeah, it took me a few tries to come up with the owl thing, but I was pleased in the end. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm really glad you asked for a drabble!
