Daily Happiness , Day 5

I'm still exhausted, but I'm determined to post today.

Day 5:

This? Is freaking awesome.

I have it on my profile page and I love it so, so much. I can tune my guitar anywhere I have access to a computer! I have my laptop on all day anyway, usually, and this little thing (is it a widget? is that what you call these things?) is so much easier and convenient than a keyboard--which I'm not always around--and is quicker than even using my electronic tuner.

And it's totally fun! Try it! Click on the switches. I'll wait.

See, was that not the most fun you had on your computer all day? :D

eta: It's just as fun as I promised, but there's a lot of code, so it doesn't do good things to some lj friends pages. Behind the cut is fine though, I promise. Click!

In other news, I am working on recording "Solitary Man" with several tracks of guitar. I'll post it when I'm done. This might make some of you happy, or make you run in fear, whatever.

In other other news, I need some advice. I just bought a little amp. The problem is is doesn't have some of the features I (and my teacher and the sales manager too, actually) thought it would. These are features I'm definitely going to feel a lack of in the not too distant future. The sales manager offered to sell me the next level up amp at a discount (since basically the model of the amp *used* to have those features then took them away unexpectedly), but it's still going to be almost twice as much as I spent in the first place (which truthfully isn't that much, but I am *poor*). So what do I do? Spending the money will definitely make me actually want to play more, but, like I said, poor.

meme, guitar, eight days of happiness
