so i knew i had to visit a customer site today, but i didn't know what time. it had been e-mailed to me but i didn't really read the details about the meeting at the time. i was lazy and just figured on saturday, "well i'll get in monday around 8:00, check my e-mail, and go to the customer site at the appropriate time." well it turns out the meeting was at 8:00 am so I was pretty late. Also, the meeting was at another building with different security procedures, and my badge had recently expired (because of a glitch when they were making mine.) so i spent about an hour in the lobby, calling various people (most of whom were in a lab environment with no cells on) to see if anybody could let me in so i could do my job.
the day didn't get much better! but let's review the scores.
late to work: -7,000 mo

well at least tomororow is shapping up to be a better day. full of new headlamps and new music.
did you know there's a version of PUMP IT UP that lets you pick different difficulties for each player? i played with paul this saturday and it was MODERATELY ENJOYABLE. it's like back in middle school when i would finish the mile run, after like, 15 minutes... and everybody would already be off playing kickball or whatever. that's how i feel for pump it up right now. good job andamiro! you finally figured out 2-PLAYER. bravo.
next step: figure out choosing songs by their TITLE. that's a hard one, andamiro. maybe you could copy DDR's ideas again, I think they finally solved that title thing in ... uhhhh.... 5th mix?!?! (wow this must be a VERY HARD PROBLEM TO SOLVE for asian video game companies in general. i guess they're not fans of words.)
