Sometimes I manage to even impress myself...
So I was sitting here this morning getting ready to work and chatting with my wonderful wife whilst doing so. Of course, I had some music on and this morning I decided I was in the mood for some "Rent." So I was listening to "One Song Glory" and was struck with an odd feeling. I know this voice. Now, I haven't listened to "Rent" nearly as much as some of the other musicals in my collection so I knew it wasn't from the album that I recognized his voice.
Now, I've heard two songs from "Aida" in my lifetime; "Elaborate Lives" and the star wishing one that I can't remember the name of right now. Both songs are on my laptop which I haven't used very much at all since I got my new desktop. So these are songs I haven't heard in about 7 months.
Well...I decided that the guy singing "One Song Glory" sounded quite a bit like the male part in "Elaborate Lives" in the version I have. So I asked to wife to check for me as I had to run out the door and would probably forget to do it afterwork. She did and I was right.
Got home today and checked my yahoo messages and she confirmed my suspicions. Same guy.
Damn I'm good (and most humble as well :P).
