I have come to an epic conclusion.
In TWEWY (The World Ends With You, a Nintendo DS game by Square Enix):
Neku= Bleached Zaizen on a really bad hair day and off his Prozac.
Joshua= Blonde Mizuki whose delusions of godlike power got upped several notches. (You can actually give him a frilly black parasol to carry)
I think Rhyme is possibly Dan, and Beat might be some kind of Momoshiro and Shiki might be some kind of An....but none fit quite so well as those two.
Konishi= Hanamura? She's scary enough.
Hanekoma= Nanjiroh. Except he possibly perves on coffee rather than dirty mags. And is possibly classier.
