[Sephiroth is pretty visibly different. For one thing, he's wearing normal, casual clothing instead of his shoulder armor and combat leathers. For another, the cat-slit green eyes don't glow as brightly as they usually do. And for once, Masamune is nowhere to be seen. So yeah, Sephiroth is definitely affected

Why should I care what other people are getting up to?

Last time I checked, most people preferred not to be killed by rampaging psychopaths. If you don't mind it, then suit yourself.

I am well capable of protecting myself and my own. Why should I care if other people can't do the same?

Then don't care. I'm talking about the people that do, but are just getting in each others' way. As long as you're not part of the problem, it doesn't really matter to me what you do.
