I Did Not Need a Phone Fake Out Right After Spring Break

Mar 15, 2010 22:17

My cell phone tried to fake me out into thinking it was dying. I don't want an upgrade, and yet my phone, because it apparently didn't get a software/roaming list/whatever update, decided it wasn't going to actually ring or vibrate when a call came in. Nor would it show it in Missed Calls, but it did show up in Received Calls. And if someone left a message, I'd get that.

Fortunately, with careful use of Verizon's update number and the application of very light percussive maintenance (read: I lightly tapped where the battery is, although I know that's not the problem), it is now working.
