It's Thursday, so It Must be Music Meme Day
One thing that bothers me a bit in Persona 4 during the "follow Kanji" bit is that they don't send Yukiko to talk to Kanji. She's already admitted that she knows him, even if she hasn't talked to him for a while, but surely she could figure some way to talk to him without being suspicious the way Yosuke and Chie are while following him. I'm also with Yosuke in that on that first day, Chie should have kept her mouth shut. Yosuke just about had them an exit from confrontation with Kanji when she piped up. Yosuke's also right in that Kanji's Midnight Channel thing is wrong in so many ways. I also vote that Yukiko's Persona is really pretty and I think I'm going to miss it when the inevitable Persona evolution happens. Chie's got the best follow up attack thus far, although I haven't unlocked Yukiko's yet so I don't know what it is.
Maggie Moo's (an ice cream place on the opposite end of town) makes excellent strawberry and cream milkshakes. And I've only had one. The milkshake is just the right thickness, and the flavor's mostly strawberry, but being strawberry and cream it tastes a little bit like whip cream was mixed into it. Which is wasn't, but cream flavored ice cream was, which explains that pretty well. They've also got a cookies and cream one, or a make-your-own option, which I might try as they have mint flavored ice cream. And we all know that I am a sucker for mint.
While I'm on the subject of food, I've made my quesadillas with chicken that has southwestern seasoning. The flavors...don't quite mesh. I'm not sure if I've just gotten used to the ordinary grilled chicken or if the seasoning and the cheese blend just don't mix right. As it is, I'm going to get chicken strips that have fajita seasoning next time and see if that works out any better. By then I'll know what combination of chicken goes with the cheese, at which point I can share my quesadilla recipe. I'll probably post it mostly for myself, as that way I remember how I make them when I stop making them all the darn time (as my food range broadens, quesadillas won't get eaten as frequently).
Weather, you're planning on driving my sinuses nuts with this warm/cold/warm/cold business, aren't you? Bad enough that I've been having headaches in the evening that are probably due to stress tension. I'm not looking forward to sinus headaches, but they're probably on their way thanks to the fake spring that keeps trying to happen.
I always forget my laptop has a tiny light. I've no idea what I could use the light for, but it's there. I never use it.
