So I unmuted dub!One Piece last night, and I could have sworn that Robin had a touch of Southern accent for a second. Also the following quote amused me greatly, although I'm not entirely sure why.
"Zolo" (in reference to Johnny and Yosaku when they first joined him): Does one of you cook?
And, uh, apparently Cartoon Network's planning an entire weekend later this month of dub!Naruto. I know one channel I don't plan to watch that weekend, because dub!Naruto never fascinated me much.
The latest thing that makes me WTF with regards to reality TV is so the show about celebrities riding bulls. And all I saw in relation to it is a single commercial. I will never really understand what the draw in reality TV is...
Saw Harry Potter 5 today. And, uh, I kinda had a moment of "uh..." at the weather reports near the very beginning when the temperatures were given in degrees F (oh, like hell I can spell what that's short for) instead of degrees C. Yay for random Americanization?
On the topic of movies, what the heck is it this year? Last year, there was practically no movies I wanted to see all year. This year, it looks like movies I want to see are coming out in waves (not, mind you, that I necessarily go see them, as I find it ultimately cheaper to wait for DVD and the shiny special features). Figures that would happen once I hit a period in my life where I'm actually attempting NOT to spend money.
In other news, it's Dryer Replacement Time here, which means we've been making trips to the coin laundry in order to dry clothes. And here I thought I had a year or two before I had to deal with coin laundries again, now that I've graduated and am living at home. Teach me to think it was safe to use those quarters as normal change...
