New Memes, Old Memes and Stuff
I've been wanting to "say" this for a long time, and my mum is a) unavailable b) would just roll her eyes at me.
1) I LOVE my hair. Seriously, if there's something I wouldn't change about me, it would be my hair. It's the traditionally brown hair, but it has this little blonde and reddish highlights. And it's wavy! It does have a personality of its own, but I don't care much about it. On the downside, it get extremely frizzy in humid days. I end up looking like la Bruja Cachavacha. Or the Lion King.
2) I discovered I'm not ugly. See a normal person would consider that normal. But I had really low self-steem, so finally accepting my un-ugliness is a big step. I may not be a knock-out, but hey, I'm nice-looking, or so I think, so I'm cool with it and don't care what the rest of the world think.
3) I also decided I don't want a grand love story, if I ever happen to fall in love, that is. My grandmother had one of those, and trust me, it didn't end well at all. So, Hollywood endings can go to hell. Getting to the happily ever after it's not the problem. Living after IT? That's hard works.
4) I keep forgetting to send an e-mail to some potential job interview. And I went to a talk the other day about a company that seems pretty cool. I'll apply there, but there's no chance I get nowhere near the first interview. FML.
5) I've been thinking about doing a sexiest people poll. But I don't think I can handle the eliminations. And knowing mysef, some rounds will go on for longer than expected as I'll probably forget about closing the polls or the like.
6) What's up with people who has been in a relationship over-using the phrase "You'll know when you meet the right person"? What if I know better NOW? There are something that can be done when one is single, you know?
7) I'm hating the weather. I don't mind the rain much. It's the 15 degrees difference between the min and max temperatures given for the day. What the hell I'm supposed to wear when it's going to be 7°C in the morning and near 20° by midday and I have to be our at those times?
8) I'm pulling the third all-nighter of the week. All because I can't seem to fall asleep at night. And I have to learn by heart 262 slides and 20 pages worth of notes for tomorrow today and specially for tomorrow when I have my final. And I have classes at 9 a.m. today. What's wrong with me?!
Here's the fangirly-ness starting. Don't read if you're totally unaware of Chuck's casting news (It was announced in Comic Con, though) (8) and Eureka's guest stars (9), Vampire Diaries Season 2 premiere (14) and Nikita's premiere (13)
8) Freaking SARAH CONNOR is CHUCK'S MUM. How cool is that? Granted, for a long to come I'll picture her in the body of Lena Heady. Seriously, just look at the woman. And Thomas Dekker got to hang out with her and Summer Glau? MAN! I really envy him.
9) No Eureka last Friday. It sucks that the SEASON FINALE (more on this in 5) is this Friday, as I have a final on Saturday morning :( There's no way I can get to watch it and perform properly on my exam. And how come this season only had 9 eps? WTH? Whatever happened to the Christmas ep, Felicia Day's one or Wil Wheaton coming back?
10) What the hell Fringe? The third season premieres right in the middle of my final period. WHY?! I wanna see how that turns out.
11) I've been watching a rather old telenovela. How could those guys say some of the lines they were given with a straight face, I'll never know. I've heard some of the corniest, awfully sweet and over the top romantic phrases of my life. And the crying. Seriously, I've never laughed so hard as in some of those dramatic scenes.
12) JESSE KNOWS THE TRUTH!! (Yes, this is old, but SUE ME) I was freaking out when he pointed the gun at Fi, I seriously thought he was gonna shoot her (not kill her, though). And then when I heard he was gonna make a choice that may affect Michael, I immediately though he was gonna shoot Maddie, and I was freaking out even worse! But when he shot Mike, I knew he had done it to save his life, plus he can always say that as he has already shot him, he's moved on. These guys have an odd way of forgiving.
13) FUCK HELL YEAH, NIKITA! It was great. I love it. I have a new show on my overpopulated Thursday schedule. I really did thought that Daniel was a code word for Micheal, so I was a bit disappointed. Is it bad that I'm shipping Jayden/Tom?
14) My poor Damon! I feel bad for him, but the pathetic behaviour has to go. And I really agree with Katherine, Stefan is kidding himself. Also I'm still hardcore shipping Damon/Bonnie/Stefan. Threesome or two separate couple, I don't mind. But seriously the Bamon scenes were awesome! Also the new Woodcomb? YUMMY! Caroline as a vampire? Me not like. But I LOVE MEAN STEFAN, I love he has a attitude even when he's a vegan again. See, Damon, you can be the good guy and have spunk? And Sara Bareilles & OneRepublic's Come Home, I WANT. Final comment, Adam Monroe, you totally stole that line from Peter Parker's uncle, and YOU KNOW IT.

Nathan Fillion, should I say more?
2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'll probably move on. I like Castle, but I'm not as in love as I still am with Lost or TSCC. So, once the show's over, I'll probably stay for a while to read some new fic and then I'll found myself a new show. Sad, but that's life.
3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
Deadly Game. The shipper in me spent all ep. trying to figure out what the hell would happen with Castle and Beckett. Where they gonna end up together? How would that affect their partnership? Weren't they gonna end up together? How was that gonna work out? Because I was pretty sure they were going to spend the summer together. ALL the signs were there till the last 5 minutes or so, when Beckett broke up with MT's charater (f I look for his name right now, I'm gonna spend the rest of the night fooling around, and I can't) and Castle told Martha about waiting for her answer. I knew then that Beckett wasn't going.
4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom?

Ugly Betty
1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I was extremely reticent about the show, because I've sort of watched the original (Yo soy Betty, la Fea) and hadn't liked it, so I thought, how am I gonna like this one. But while studying for my Marketing final, a classmate convinced me to watch it during the breaks. And the rest is history.
My change of heart about the show was due to Daniel and Betty. Those two! I LOVE them. Well, I love everyone on that show, but those two have a special place in my heart.
2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I think I'll probably move on. I think I have. Which is sad, 'cause I really liked it. It was a cute show.
3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
The pilot and the series finale. I love those most of all. I really liked the finale, because it striked a nice balance between what I wanted for Betty as a woman and what my shipper heart wanted. And the pilot introduced me to this wonderful show.
4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I used to read the fanfic and I sorta participated in the post-finale discussion, but that was it. I'm pretty much a lurker in all my fandoms.
5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom?
Perhaps? I only have experience with the Detty side of the fandom, and they seem pretty cool, but again, I only watch, never participate (except in one specific case), so I wouldn't really know.
LOST
1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Truth be told, I started watching Lost because of EW's sexiest pairing (I think it was called). They showed Juliet and Sawyer together, and I found that odd, because among the few thing I knew about, there were
a) Juliet was a bad guy (or so it seemed)
b) Sawyer and Jack were after Kate, and she couldn't decided which one she wanted (which is why I call her Fickle Freckles in her love storyline, I'm pretty OK with the rest of her story, though)
So, I decided to check the fifth season out, and I fell in love with Suliet and then I had to know the beginning of the story and the rest is history.
2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm still lurking around. :)
3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
The End, LaFleur, The Incident, LAX, What they died for. Seasons 5 and 6 are my favourites.
