Glad I can make you laugh! I'm the nutcase who screams at the screen and mocks some scenes while watching.
You should check out Fringe. If you haven't already, what are you waiting for?! (And my mind just flashed on Gwen Stefani. Stupid song!). Though I have to say something about the other shows:
- Supernatural is cool too, though some part of the fandom is certifiably insane. Still, considering Kripke (the EP) is no longer running the show, I'd be wary if next season.
- VD is plane ol' fun. And you get the obviously hot guys (it's on the CW, after all).
- Smallville. I wouldn't recommend at all the last season. It's a fun show. No great actors or anything, but from mid-season 6, it finds ways to suck harder every week, except in 1 0r 2 eps per season. Although if you like Superman, apparently this incarnation of Clark Kent is ICONIC *rolls eyes* Again, some part of this fandom is totally nuts, and shipping wars are nasty.
I used to watch Grey's but last season was the break up. I only watch some scenes and the finale. I have things to say about EVERY character or their stories. And when you start rolling your eyes at everything they say or do, it's time to let go. Private is like Grey's but I think they don't try to make the show appear to be more than it is. They know it's a show about people who don't always act their age (OK, most of the time they act like teenagers) and it's OK for them. They don't care and they have fun. They still have their WTF moments but less so than Grey's. So whenever you get fed up with all the merry-go-round Grey's drama, come join us in the beach. We have margaritas ;)
