ALYESKA SKI RESORT
Alaska is so gorgeous. Matt & Brendyn & Joe and I went down to Alyeska- and driving down the penninsula as the sun was rising was one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen. amber lit mountains with the mist comming from down the fjords and ice floating in the cold inlet. I looked out on the cliff side of the road and saw maybe 15 dahl (mountain) sheep standing in a herd above us. It's just so beautiful here once you get out of anchorage- even a little bit (five minutes even!)
Christmas is really good. By "Christmas" I mean the last few weeks.
I'm SO out of shape. snowboarding sort of ate me today. I love those boys. I love all of my anchorage friends- although I have not seen enough ladies this vacation. Rita, where are you? I call and I call and I call and you're nowhere to be found!
What i just overheard in from my kitchen:
my sister: have you ever gotten gas at costco?
my mom: of course I have
my sister: how was it?
my mom: amazing. I had to have a cigarette afterwards it was so great.
They are now talking about hiding and jumping out and beating/pushing me. I beat them at a game a second ago, and they are sore losers.
luckily my sister says she doesn't want to drive to the hospital in the dark so they wont push my down the stairs. She pointed out this means I only have 3 hours (daylight) where I have to watch my back.
