I have the coolest job ever.
OK, so I know I have complained about my job on numerous occasions, however today it got so good. First, I have a meeting with the boss man and he tells me that I will no longer be working shifts starting in August. I will get a raise and get paid for coming in and hanging out for hours at a time. This is to ensure everything is running smoothly and everyone is doing their job. I will still be in charge of the usual tasks, plus a couple of other things. However, I can go in whenever I feel like it. It will be nice.
Then, Rhett informs me that we will start selling 4ft sandwiches in the fall. Since Publix will be making the bread, they made us a sample sandwich today. Who brought it home? ME. Plus, I got forty dollars for a party and the "beverage of our choice." This happens to be beer, but that is OK, since I only spent $20, so I have an extra $20 that I would not have had to begin with. So, party at my house.
