Rachael just called. She is officially engaged. They already had a wedding date set, of course it is the day of the Homecoming game. I am very happy for her. I think it is crazy that she has only been dating this guy for a couple of months, but she is happy and he is a great guy. I have four weddings to go to before the end of October. That is a lot of money spent on presents. At least I only have two more to buy. I bought one yesterday and I am not buying a present for a couple that I do not really know well(they are Eric's friends). Weddings have been the topic of conversation a lot lately. I am going to a wedding shower today, and with three more coming up, weddings will just come up in normal everyday conversation. It makes me feel old.
I started this journal with a different purpose, but Rachael's phone call threw me off track. I do not remember what I was going to write about. Oh, well, it could not have been too important.
