a day at the fair...
went to the renfaire today with david. havent been in two years. it was rather fun. i didnt spend too much money i dont think. had some boysenberry mead and some hot mulled wine. both were quite good. tried a shank of lamb. not so good. got some period shoes on sale from a place that is going out of business. bought another cd by e muzeki. they are even better than the last time i saw them. saw the birds of prey show. it was pretty good but i miss the andean condor they had a few years back. thats one wicked huge bird. had a bit of deja vu a few times while walking about the fair. the old sca compound and the magical walking trail thing both bring back alot of memories. as do all the sword shops. but for much different reasons. went to panera for the first time. its tasty. just took a long really hot shower. most of it was just standing under the water and feeling it wash over me. thats something i almost never do. i almost fell asleep standing up i was so relaxed. found myself mimicking a habit of someone i know that i havent ever done or even seen in years. i have to say it was one of the best showers ive ever had. my skin is so hot now i feel like i have a fever. im so very very mellow. id really like to dance though. see you space cowboy...
